Growing up you could find me in one of two places. Crafting with my mother, or building with my father. I guess you could say this was meant to be, but it didn't happen like that. Prior to starting this company, I worked in the funeral industry for 7 years. Don't ask me why. Now however, I would say it was for the tremendously eye opening and heart wrenching experiences I had there. Things you could never learn from any book, or show on television. Real life, real love, real pain, and real mortality. Life lessons I wouldn't trade for the world. The end of that career came at the very beginning of the end of my marriage. Broken and defeated, I turned to some abandoned furniture for a distraction. With the love and support of my family and friends, something beautiful started to happen. I could see hope where before there was only despair. I could see color where before everything was black. I could see a light at the end of the tunnel, and a new path for my life to take. This is it, and there is no other place I'd rather be.
"Karissa is AMAZING! You should hire her!"

"I've been fortunate enough to have two pieces of Karissa's work in my home - one for each of my children. Her creativity and attention to detail are amazing. I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but needed help to make my ideas come to life. Karissa did just that. She was prompt, yet meticulous. I have recommended her to several other friends and colleagues, many of whom have contacted her for their own projects"

"We honestly could not be happier with our mural. Everyone who sees it comments that it is a one-of-a-kind piece of art that transforms the room. Karissa made us feel so comfortable in this process; her talent and eye for design is incredible. You need to book this up and coming artist now while she is still affordable!"
